Quentin Taylor President Quentin Taylor is a senior from Tampa, Florida concentrating in Finance at Questrom and minoring in Political Science. Before becoming President, Quinn was VP of Corporate Relations and also held a position of Senior Analyst in the club, covering Healthcare. This summer, he worked as a Summer Analyst at Raymond James’ Technology and Services Investment Banking group. Last summer he worked as a Summer Analyst at Momentum Cyber, a boutique investment bank in San Francisco. Before that, he was a Private Equity Summer Analyst at Healthedge Investment Partners back in Tampa. Quinn enjoys watching and playing basketball and golf. He also enjoys traveling in his free time.
Nicholas Sylvia Vice President of Operations Nicholas Sylvia is a senior in Questrom concentrating in Finance with a minor in Computer Science. He is currently the Vice President of Operations and previously was a Senior Analyst on the Investment Research side in the Consumer sector. In the future, he aspires to work in alternative asset management, specifically at a hedge fund or fintech company. His previous experience includes working for Search Fund Accelerator: a private equity firm in Boston. Outside of BUFC, he plays as a winger on the BU Men’s Rugby Club and enjoys hiking, biking, soccer, and basketball.
Aayush Pashine Vice President of Corporate Relations Aayush Pashine is a junior from Mahwah, New Jersey concentrating in Finance and Management Information Systems in Questrom. Before becoming VP of Corporate Relations, Aayush was a Senior Analyst in the club, covering the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sector. Last summer he worked as a Summer Financial Analyst at a technology startup, helping with valuation/projection projects and pitch decks for Venture Capital stakeholders. Aayush currently volunteers for Athlete Future Foundation and is a fall Investment Intern for Boston Impact Initiative. He hopes to pursue a career in investment banking. Outside of BUFC, he is involved with Alpha Kappa Psi and Sapphire Finance Group. During his free time, he enjoys Formula 1, chess, and tennis.
Navya Singhal Vice President of Marketing Navya Singhal is a junior pursuing a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing at Questrom. Before becoming the VP of Marketing, she was involved in the club as a Junior Analyst in the Consumer sector. This summer Navya worked as a consulting intern in the Finance and Performance department at Deloitte, India. Last summer, she was a Marketing intern at JBM Group, a leading conglomerate in the Automotive Industry, in India. Navya loves animals and has three pet dogs. She also enjoys playing sitar and listening to music.
Alex Harte Chief Risk Analyst Alex Harte is a Junior studying Finance from Livingston, New Jersey. Before becoming the Chief Risk Analyst, Alex was an investment associate in the Financials sector. Last Summer, he worked in investment banking at Stifel in their depositories group. He previously also interned at a startup sports betting company, Betcha. Alex is a member of BU’s club golf team, and also enjoys skiing, sailing, and watching hockey.
Kaushal Patel Co-Vice President of Investment Research Kaushal Patel is a senior in Questrom concentrating in Finance, Accounting and dual majoring in Economics. In the past, he has interned at an Investment Management firm and that is where his interest in Finance started. Kaushal hopes to pursue Investment Banking in the future. On-campus, he is a member of the club cricket team and Alpha Kappa Psi, along with being a huge sports fan with the Patriots being his favorite team.
George Ozawa Vice President of Investment Management George Ozawa is a senior from Palos Verdes, California concentrating in Finance, Accounting, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Before becoming VP of Investment Management, he was the club’s Chief Risk Officer. Last summer, he interned as a Deals Valuation Associate for PwC in San Jose, primarily covering the Technology sector. George has also had prior experiences in Private Equity, Equity Research, Consulting, Asset Management, and Corporate Banking. During his free time, he enjoys Formula 1, basketball, golf, and travelling.
Anlin Dong Chief Risk Officer
Anlin Dong is a junior from Shenzhen, China, and is currently studying Finance and Accounting at Questrom. He is responsible for co-managing BUFC’s student fund and ensuring the equity investments involved are properly hedged against market volatilities. He has also conducted company research on several companies in the Healthcare industry with estimated target price realized, including Omnicell Inc (ticker: OMCL), Integer Holdings Corp (INGR), and MedPace Inc (MEDP). During his free time, Anlin enjoys soccer, piano & guitar, action films, and stand-up comedies.
Sonia Ali Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion
Sonia is a senior from Trinidad and Tobago pursuing a Bachelors in Economics and Math and a Masters in Economics as part of BU’s BA/MA program. Before becoming the VP of Diversity and Inclusion, Sonia was previously an investment associate in the club. This summer, she worked as a summer analyst in infrastructure private equity at Macquarie Group in London. Last summer, she worked as a business analyst at a drone technology startup where she assisted with financial modeling and valuations. In the future, she hopes to work in private equity or asset management. Outside of BUFC, Sonia enjoys exercising or traveling with friends.
Josh is a senior from East Greenwich, Rhode Island studying Economics & Mathematics in CAS. Before holding positions as both the Sector Head of Industrials and VP of Quant Strategy, Josh was a Junior Analyst for Energy & Materials, Senior Analyst for Consumer Goods, and a member of the Quant team. Josh has presented for the Quant team on topics such as a momentum-based trading strategy, a crypto-currency arbitrage algorithm, and a fundamental time-series model for natural gas storage. Last summer, he interned at HIMCO, an insurance asset manager, in their valuations department. Outside of school and work, Josh enjoys spending time with his dogs, and watching Formula One.
Co-Vice President of Investment Research
Damien is a junior studying Finance in Questrom and dual majoring in Psychology. Before becoming Co-VP of IR, he was the Senior Analyst of the Healthcare Sector. His recent experience in a Private Equity firm in Korea has shaped his interest in Investment Management. Other than BUFC, he is heavily involved in BU’s dance team, Unofficial Project.
