Boston Investment Conference The Boston Investment Conference will be held on September, 26, 2018. The conference gathers the brightest minds in the investment community together for a full day of insights, ideas and networking. Each year, conference proceeds benefit a new research initiative at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as unique collaborations between Boston Children’s and the Broad Institute.

They are also organizing a student investment contest in the fall.

EquitySim EquitySim is an online financial market simulation that comes. The simulation’s purpose is twofold. The first purpose is to provide experiential education to students, and the second is to provide equal opportunity to careers in finance for students. Through the simulation, students will manage a portfolio and over time the firm’s algorithm identifies top-performing candidates for job opportunities who show potential based off of their learning curve, risk management, and research, not portfolio return. Students are encouraged to learn and document their learnings to be connected to jobs at EquitySim’s partnered investment banks: JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs, among others.   Point72 Global Case Competition The Point72 Academy is looking for undergrads with a passion for the capital markets, an insatiable appetite for research, and demonstrated academic excellence. Starting October 1, 2018, you will have seven days to research a case, assemble your unique view, and present your ideas via video for review by Point72 professionals. If you’re among the top eight teams, you’ll become a Point72 Global Case Competition Finalist, which will look pretty great on your resume. As a Finalist, you’ll earn an all-expenses-paid weekend in NYC (November 2-3, 2018), where you’ll rise to the challenge of presenting your case to some of Point72’s top investment professionals. Global Case Competition Finalists will also be offered an interview for opportunities with Point72’s Academy Program, and the first-place team secures their seats in one of our exclusive 2019 Academy Summits, the first step in a career at Point72. Plus, we’re awarding more than $24,000 in cash and prizes to competition winners.
